Head on over to 100 Layer Cake to see the full blog post, and enjoy a few of the details below. We had so much fun creating this shoot with a talented group of creatives and love a good garden party!
By mixing classic details with on-trend, almost-neon pops of colour we wanted to inspire brides and grooms to see that formal and classic need not be “stuffy”.
Held at one of our favourite regal Vancouver city venues, Hycroft Manor, we set the scene for guests to enjoy a garden party reception on the lawn complete with champagne cocktails and croquet.
We also incorporate subtle details such as the hand-painted flowers on the wedding stationery which mimicked the rose detailing on the bride’s dress.
The groom’s classic but slightly more “upbeat” bright blue suit from Baracosa and Brand in West Vancouver and the bride’s neon yellow clutch were a few of our favourite details.
We’re so grateful to the community of talented vendors who help bring this inspiration to life!
