Who it suits: The modern bride who loves to brunch which all her girls following a good night out.

The Event Style: Modern, casual and fun.

Set a long table or lounge area with punchy florals, bold stripes and geometric patterns in bright colours on place cards, napkins, pillows and serving trays. Wear your favourite maxi dress and wedges or gladiators and load on the arm candy.

The Venue: If you have the room, hosting brunch at your home or in your sunny backyard is a great idea. Alternatively, a few of our favourite spots in Vancouver include the private dining room at the Loden Hotel or rooftop at Reflections Lounge at the Hotel Georgia.

The Menu: Her favourites. Ideas include: eggs and pancetta, french toast, fresh fruit and croissants (Thomas Haas is a local favourite).

What we’re sipping: Casears & classic mimosas.
