Mar07 Do Good with Bella Figura 2012

At Spread Love Events we consider the amazing graphic designers we work with to be our secret weapon (though they’re not a secret – we’ll be blogging about them shortly). We love working hand in hand with them and our clients to create totally custom and personal stationary pieces from the invitation to web design and signage on the day (more on that in a future blog post). Truth be told – we’re also head over heals for some of the amazing template stationary available from companies like Bella Figura and sometimes we find the perfect invite online. Moral of the story: sometimes one style really does fit, well, a few.

In no particular order, we’ve featured some of our favourite Bella Figura invites that would suit a variety of wedding styles and settings from a rustic farm to a modern industrial space and in between.

I recently ordered some samples from Bella Figura that arrived this week and felt like I had been invited to ten of the most fabulous soirees! From edge painting to custom liners and a variety of sizes, paper weights and even the option for foil stamping – you really can have it all.  They’re also a pretty cool company that does some good things (you read about them here). If you’re also into “doing good” then you could win 25 free invitations or a whole set! Head on over to their blog to read the fine print about their March contest. Good luck!

Insider tip: Traditional wedding etiquette suggests you should send your invitations out 6 to 8 weeks prior to your wedding date, and Save the Dates up to 6 months prior. However, with busy summer schedules and out of town guests on the invite list, it’s a growing trend to send your invitations out a little early. As for tradition – when it works embrace it, if not, it’s okay to break the “rules!” From wording to send dates, you can read more on invitation etiquette here.
