Jan08 Real Wedding: Libby and Cory 2012

We ended our 2011 wedding season with a lovely wedding at the newly opened Rosewood Hotel Georgia. Awhile back we shared our inspiration for Libby and Cory’s wedding and details about this gorgeous venue. We couldn’t resist sharing some more details of the day and beautiful images captured by Melissa Gidney Photography.

The Rosewood Hotel Georgia was a gorgeous  backdrop for this elegant city wedding.  The couple were stylish, sophisticated, with impeccable taste and desired a wedding that was perfectly detailed, but not overstated.  Our styling for the day reflected this vision with simple elegance.

The bride wore a stunning lace dress from Bisou Bridal paired with vintage heirloom jewellery, the bridesmaids accompanied her in floor length grey chiffon dresses from J.CREW and the Groom and Groomsmen looked so dapper in classic black tuxedos. As you can see from the pictures, it was a good looking bunch.

We choose to accent the intimate ceremony with low white florals that had a subtle hit of gold and glowing candlelight. This created a soft and romantic ambience for this late afternoon ceremony. The florals were designed by Celsia Florist.

To compliment the art deco designs and patterns found in the hotel we brought in a chevron graphic to add some interest to the stationary, custom drink trays and it was also a feature for the modern cake designed by the bride’s talented sister Jill of The Uncommon Cake. Jill also designed custom cookies, which included a sweet L+C monogram and chevron graphic.

We hope you enjoy the details of the day.
